Why a clear kayak
Most tours put you on the water. This one puts the water under you — a completely transparent hull over a shallow reef, so the reason you came to La Digue is visible the whole way.
The Robinson Crusoe Tour
Conditions and routing shift with the tide and weather — that is part of doing this responsibly.
Launch into the lagoon beneath La Digue’s iconic granite formations.
Look straight through the hull at coral and the nursery for small fish.
See the beach, palms and sculpted boulders from their most dramatic angle.
Reach a secluded beach by sea, swim and explore caves along the wild coast.
Walk through the coastal landscape to viewpoints and neighbouring wild beaches.
Learn an island survival skill and open a coconut without modern tools.
Paddle home with one final open-water view of Anse Source d’Argent.
One tour a day, set by the tide
Send your date and the team confirms the tide window and availability, usually the same day.

A glimpse of La Digue
Before you book
Timing, families, weather and what is included — answered before you commit to anything.
Read all questionsUse the booking planner on the tour page. It creates a prefilled WhatsApp request with your date, party size and preferences. Your booking is confirmed once the team replies with availability and the tide-based start time.
The start time changes with the tide and may fall in the morning or the afternoon. The team runs one departure per day and confirms the best available time for your date.
On many dates yes, but not on all of them. Some departures begin before the first ferry arrives or finish after the last one leaves, so confirm the tour time before buying fixed ferry tickets.
Families are welcome. The team generally does not recommend the tour for children under three because the sea can become choppy. Ask for date-specific advice when you request your booking.
Safety comes first. The team may delay the start, adjust the route or offer another available day. Confirm the current cancellation and refund terms with the team when you book.
