Booking terms
How a booking is made
A request sent through the booking planner or WhatsApp is a request, not a confirmed booking. Your place is confirmed only when the team replies confirming the date, the tide-based start time and the price.
Timing
One guided departure runs per day. The start time is determined by the tide and may be released close to the date. Guests travelling by ferry on the same day should confirm the time before purchasing fixed tickets.
Weather and safety
The guide may delay the start, change the route, shorten the activity or cancel entirely where sea, wind or weather conditions make it unsafe. Decisions about safety are made by the team on the day and are final.
Guests must wear the life jacket provided for the duration of the activity and follow the guide’s instructions.
Suitability
Guests should be comfortable in and around water. The tour is generally not recommended for children under three years old. The published maximum load is 170 kg combined per kayak; groups close to this limit should tell the team in advance.
Please disclose relevant medical conditions, pregnancy or mobility limitations when booking so the team can advise properly.
Prices and park entry
Prices shown on this website are per person and cover the activity only. Entry to L’Union Estate is charged separately by the estate at its gate and is not included.
Cancellation
Cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms are confirmed by the team in writing when your booking is confirmed. Please ask for them if they have not been provided.
Liability
Kayaking is an outdoor activity in a natural environment and carries inherent risk. Guests participate at their own risk and remain responsible for their own belongings. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by applicable law.
