How it started
One idea, taken seriously since 2017.
Crystal Water Kayaks began in 2017 with a simple idea: let visitors experience Anse Source d’Argent without separating the adventure from the ecology that makes it possible.
Transparent kayaks were the obvious tool. They turn a shallow reef from something you paddle over into something you actually watch — and they make a guided explanation land, because guests can see what is being described.
The team combines local knowledge, water safety, geology, marine education and plenty of island energy in every tour. Most of us grew up here; all of us still find this coastline worth the trip.

Three things we do not compromise on.
Small groups, real guiding
A tour is only worth the price if the guide can talk to you. Group sizes stay small enough that questions get answered.
Leave the reef alone
Routes avoid fragile coral, guests are briefed before launch, and we would rather change the plan than damage what people came to see.
